LEILA BOUAMATOU, FIGUREHEAD FOR AFRICAN BUSINESSWOMEN, WAS CO-OPTED TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF KINROSS SUBSIDIARIES IN MAURITANIA
Andreas Mettler, Vice President for Africa and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kinross' subsidiaries in Mauritania, announced the appointment of three new members to the Board, effective March 16.
A brief company statement outlines these appointments as follows:
- The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Générale de Banque de Mauritanie (GBM), Leila Bouamatou, as a member of the TMLSA Board of Directors;
- The former Minister of Finance Thiam Djombar, as a member of the two boards of TMLSA and SETSA;
- Engineer Ahmed Sidi Ali, as a member of the Boards of TMLSA, SENISA and SETSA.
The company is extremely proud to be able to attract highly reputed candidates to join our boards, said Vice President for Africa and Chairman of the Board of Kinross' Mauritania subsidiaries, Andreas Mettler.
