Dr. Leila Bouamatou, Managing Director of Générale de Banque de Mauritanie
Following her strong academic background and professional career in Switzerland, Tunisia, Spain and the United States, Dr. Leila Bouamatou went back to Mauritania to manage the Générale de Banque de Mauritanie her father founded. She made her debut as Head of the Treasury Board of the GBM in 2009, and is now Director and General Manager of the GBM, a role she has taken for four years. A high-level position that she could brilliantly fulfill thanks to her solid experience in the field of international finance, while refreshing and revitalizing the management of this highly respected investment firm with an unprecedented modernity.
